MARINA RINALDI HERITAGE

It was 1850, and the idea of women’s fashion was beginning to take shape within our society, when Marina Rinaldi opened her Atelier in the heart of Reggio Emilia. Thanks to her skill in tailoring and her innate taste for elegance, she began to create unique garments, marked by a meticulous attention to detail that immediately made them unmistakable.

In 1925, her granddaughter Giulia Fontanesi Maramotti took up the sartorial legacy by expanding the family business, dedicating herself personally to training determined, skilled and cultivated seamstresses, ready to carry forward an art that was much more than a profession.

It was then, in 1980, that the founder of the MaxMara group, Achille Maramotti, paid tribute to his great-grandmother by creating a brand that would bear her name. A clear and powerful mission: to dress all women, regardless of their size.

A sartorial art based on a female, authentic and competent eye, capable of capturing what often escapes: those small details that silently speak of style, delicacy and individuality.
